Frequently asked questions

Which marinas do you serve?

Our office is at D-Marin Didim, and we serve every marina in the Aegean region. Simply tell us where your yacht is when you request a quote.

How do you work with engines under warranty?

For engines and generators under warranty, maintenance and repairs go through the authorised service network, so your warranty is protected. For equipment out of warranty, we carry out overhauls and repairs backed by the Karina Marine guarantee.

How often should antifouling be renewed?

For most yachts, once a year before the season. Usage, the water temperature where the yacht is berthed and the type of paint can change this; we give a recommendation specific to your yacht during the survey.

Does the yacht need to be hauled out?

For antifouling, full paint jobs and shaft or propeller work, yes. Many jobs, such as engines, electrics and electronics, carpentry and After Look, can be done in the water. We plan haul-outs together with the marina.

How is the quote prepared?

After receiving your request, we inspect your yacht on site and prepare our quote with the scope of work and materials clearly defined.

Do you help with paperwork and permits?

Yes. We handle your yacht's documentation in line with regulations, as an authorised party.
